GrossToNet.eu is a free, no-signup salary calculator for employees working across Europe. Enter your gross salary, pick your country, and instantly see your estimated take-home pay after income tax and social security contributions.
What we calculate
We cover income tax, employee social security, and the most common deductions for each supported country — using official rates published by government tax authorities. Supported countries for 2026:
- Germany — Lohnsteuer, Solidaritätszuschlag, all four social contributions (KV, RV, AV, PV), all six Steuerklassen
- Netherlands — Box 1 income tax, national insurance (AOW/ANW/WLZ), arbeidskorting, algemene heffingskorting, 30% ruling option
- Poland — PIT, ZUS contributions, PIT-0 (youth exemption) option
- Spain — IRPF (state + regional brackets), Seguridad Social, Beckham Law option
- Portugal — IRS brackets, Social Security, IRS Jovem exemption option
- France — IR with quotient familial, CSG/CRDS, employee social contributions
- Denmark — AM-bidrag, bundskat, kommuneskat, new 2026 supertax tiers
- Hungary — 15% flat SZJA, employee social security
- Andorra — IGI personal income tax
- Ireland — USC, PRSI, income tax with standard rate cut-off
Accuracy and limitations
Calculations are based on the standard employee situation and official published rates for 2026. They are intended as a useful estimate — not a substitute for payslip software or professional tax advice. Edge cases (multiple employers, non-resident status, additional deductions, regional variations) may produce different results in practice.
We update the calculator each year when new budgets are announced. Rates are sourced directly from official government publications and tax authority websites.
Who built this
GrossToNet.eu was built by a developer who got tired of hunting through multiple country-specific tools when comparing European job offers. The goal is simple: one place, accurate numbers, no account required.
